Following an interim inspection, Chandos Road, one of our residential services in London, has received confirmation from Headway that the service continues to fulfill all the standards required by the Headway Approved Provider (AP) scheme.
The service is currently rated as Good in two domains and Outstanding in four domains, with an overall grading of Outstanding.
What is Headway Approved Provider Accreditation?
The Headway Approved Provider scheme operates a robust system of assessment involving on-site evaluation of evidence, together with discussion with staff, service users and, where possible, family/carers.
The accreditation demonstrates a commitment to continuous service improvement and ensuring a workforce trained and skilled in working with individuals with brain injury.
The scheme uses a set of standards developed to reflect the specific needs of people with ABI, using these to evaluate the care provided. The process involves signing off a statement of compliance against each required standard and undergoing a robust on-site assessment, within an inspection system that also involves unannounced interim reviews.
