Located in Milton Keynes, Oxley Park is an Autism-Specific Residential Service providing individualised support in a highly tailored environment, where people’s rights, independence, and choices are actively promoted.

With qualified, experienced and flexible team members, each person is able maximise their potential and increase their independence in a community setting.

Tailored support, bespoke accommodation

The people we support at Oxley Park have their own spacious bedroom, living room and ensuite alongside communal space. There is also a large communal kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, offering a mix of personal and communal space. There is also a safe and secure communal garden.

By providing significant personal space and tailored support, Oxley Park is an ideal stepping stone for individuals preparing to move on to supported living.

Our Residential Model

Our residential provision is far removed from traditional models of support— with a focus on community integration, proactive development of independence and Individual Care Pathways.

Our qualified team members provide each person with the care and support that they need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – providing a safe, positive and stimulating environment. Services are carefully designed to meet the needs of the individuals who live there —adapting provision to meet individual need, whilst ensuring staffing structures and training are built around each person.

Our recruitment process is focussed on values, ensuring that we only employ people who believe in kindness, involvement, quality of life and progress. We provide ongoing training, support and mentoring to ensure that our team have the skills required to deliver high quality care.

Our Clinical Support Team

In addition to our highly trained support teams, we also have a specialist in-house Clinical Support Team. The Clinical Support Team is a team of specialists from different disciplines, who work closely together to deliver additional support and expertise to the people we support at Precious.

By having an in-house team, we bring together professionals and practitioners from across different sectors to deliver person-centred, holistic care which focuses on the needs of the individual. With no need to apply and wait for support from external teams, we can provide this specialist support quickly and efficiently.

PBS

At Precious, we are committed to improving the support we provide by embedding Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) throughout the organisation. At its very core, PBS is about treating people with respect, putting their needs at the centre and enabling them to achieve the quality and enjoyment of life that everyone aspires to.

PBS takes a person-centred approach to identify which areas of support will be most helpful to each individual. This includes working closely with the people we support to make sure that their choices and goals are heard, respected and actioned.

Oxley Park is set within the heart of the Milton Keynes community and is within easy reach of local shops, restaurants, colleges, health and leisure facilities.

The team at Oxley Park work hard to maintain and encourage new hobbies and interests in line with each person’s current skills and interests. The team regularly link with our other Milton Keynes services to share, plan and join activities together, as part of increasing social development and integration.

Referrals

We provide a rapid response to referrals and we will normally arrange a professional assessment within a few days of your call.

Our highly experienced team will carry out a full and detailed pre-admission assessment, free of charge and without obligation, prior to a placement being offered. This focuses on understanding the unique needs of each person and forms the basis of the their support plans if they move into the service.
