Residential Care
Newham, East London
Prince Regent House offers proactive residential support and accommodation for up to seven autistic adults, as well as adults with learning disabilities and associated needs.
Prince Regent House is a bespoke Residential Service set in the heart of Newham. With six one-bedroom flats and one large bedroom with ensuite, plus a range of communal areas, the service provides a balance of personal and communal space to encourage independence while reducing social isolation.
With a qualified, experienced, and committed Support Team, the service is ideal as a step-down service for someone moving on from a secure setting, as well as those who have experienced placement breakdowns in the past.
Prince Regent is home to six one-bedroom flats and one large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Set over three stories, the flats are different designs and sizes, to meet differing needs, with three of the flats also having their own kitchens, for those who are more independent.
All flats have access to communal areas, as well as a fully equipped sensory room to support people with meeting sensory needs or relaxation. There is also a large garden, complete with a sensory garden, hot tub, trampoline and swing.
Prince Regent benefits from close community links, with shops, cafes, leisure centres, and Newham College offering plenty of opportunities to get out and about.
The team supports people to increase their independence and experience new things, in line with their own interests and aspirations. Thanks to our location, we’re able to enjoy trips to Central London, Brighton, Southend, and other local attractions.
We provide a rapid response to referrals and we will normally arrange a professional assessment within a few days of your call.
Our highly experienced team will carry out a full and detailed pre-admission assessment, free of charge and without obligation, prior to a placement being offered. This focuses on understanding the unique needs of each person and forms the basis of the their support plans if they move into the service.
